Terms of Service

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your password confidential. Accounts are for a single individual and may not be shared or resold.

JobSearchFix provides career coaching software, AI-generated guidance, resume and interview tooling, and optional human review services. The Service is an informational and productivity tool.

• No guarantee of employment. We do not promise interviews, job offers, salary increases, security clearances, or any specific hiring outcome.
• Not legal, financial, immigration, or tax advice. Coaching content, including salary negotiation and federal hiring guidance, is general information only.
• We are not an employer, recruiter, or staffing agency. Job listings surfaced in the app come from third-party sources and are provided as-is.

Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, and similar output may be generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing anything you submit to an employer. Do not rely on AI output as a statement of fact about you, an employer, or a job.

You keep ownership of the resumes, job descriptions, notes, recordings, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, including sending it to our AI and infrastructure providers. You represent that you have the right to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information to an employer using the Service.
• Upload another person's personal information without their permission.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or build a competing product from the Service.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, paywalls, promotional codes, or security controls.
• Upload malware, or use the Service for unlawful, harassing, or abusive purposes.

• Free tier. Limited runs per section, subject to change.
• Subscriptions. Pro is billed monthly or annually in advance and renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel.
• One-time services. Resume, Federal Resume, Expert Review, and Practice Interview are single purchases, not subscriptions.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your account billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the end of the paid period.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and suspend or downgrade paid features until payment succeeds.
• Taxes and price changes. Prices exclude applicable taxes. We will give notice before a price change affects your renewal.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Promotional codes and limited founding-member offers have no cash value, may be capped in quantity, are non-transferable, and may be modified or discontinued at any time. We may revoke access obtained through abuse of a promotion.

Human review is a professional feedback service delivered within the stated turnaround window after we receive everything we need from you. Delivery timelines are estimates. We may decline or refund a submission that falls outside our scope.

The Service, including its software, design, branding, mascot, prompts, and coaching frameworks, is owned by JobSearchFix and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal job search. You may use documents you generate (such as your resume) for any lawful purpose.

The Service integrates third parties including payment processing, authentication, hosting, AI model providers, email delivery, and job data sources. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party content, listings, or availability.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution) will survive.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content is accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobSearchFix will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost employment, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).

Some states do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JobSearchFix and its operators from claims arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which JobSearchFix is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting support@jobsearchfix.com. Any unresolved dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in that state, and each party consents to that jurisdiction.

Draft note for review: confirm the governing state, and decide whether to add a binding arbitration and class-action waiver clause. Do not publish this section as final without attorney review.

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
