Question 1

What is JobSearchFix AI?

Accepted Answer

JobSearchFix AI is an AI-powered career coaching app for veterans, military spouses, and job seekers — resume tailoring, interview prep, LinkedIn optimization, and job search strategy in one place.

Question 2

Is JobSearchFix AI free?

Accepted Answer

Yes — JobSearchFix AI is free to start with no credit card required. Paid plans with expanded coaching features are coming soon.

Question 3

What is the best AI resume tool for veterans?

Accepted Answer

For veterans, the best AI resume tool is one built by someone who actually coaches veterans. JobSearchFix AI was built by a military veteran and career coach, and it translates MOS/rate/AFSC experience into civilian-recognizable language while also covering LinkedIn, interview prep, salary negotiation, and job search strategy — not just the resume document.

Question 4

How do I translate military experience into a civilian resume?

Accepted Answer

Rewrite each bullet in civilian outcome language: what you led, what changed, and by how much. JobSearchFix AI automates this by mapping military duties, evals, and awards to civilian role language, quantifying impact, and matching the exact keywords the target job posting uses so ATS software surfaces the resume.

Question 5

How is JobSearchFix AI different from a resume builder like BestMilitaryResume or Teal?

Accepted Answer

Resume builders stop at the document. JobSearchFix AI is a full career coaching platform — resume tailoring plus LinkedIn rewrite, interview prep, salary negotiation, and a weekly job search plan — built by a career coach who coaches veterans, military spouses, and civilian job seekers every day.

Question 6

Does JobSearchFix AI help with interview prep and salary negotiation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Interview prep gives you real recruiter-style questions with coaching on how to answer them, and the salary negotiation module gives you scripts and strategy to raise the offer — often by $10k–$40k — instead of accepting the first number.

Question 7

Can military spouses use JobSearchFix AI?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Military spouses are a core audience. The app is built around PCS-proof, remote-friendly search: framing employment gaps from moves and deployments honestly, positioning your experience for portable roles, and tapping MSEP and fellowship programs like Hiring Our Heroes.

Question 8

Does JobSearchFix AI work for non-military job seekers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every module — resume tailoring, LinkedIn, interview prep, salary negotiation, job search plan — works for civilian job seekers and first-time applicants. The military-specific depth is a bonus, not a requirement.

Question 9

How does JobSearchFix AI tailor my resume to a specific job posting?

Accepted Answer

Upload your resume and paste the job description. The app extracts the role's required skills and keywords, rewrites your bullets to match that specific job in ATS-friendly formatting, and returns a downloadable Word document — usually in under five minutes.

Question 10

Is my personal data safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sensitive identifiers like Social Security numbers, phone numbers, and emails found in uploaded documents are automatically detected and scrubbed before anything is stored or sent to the AI. Your data sits behind secure, per-user database protections.

Question 11

Who built JobSearchFix AI?

Accepted Answer

JobSearchFix AI was built by a military veteran and career coach who coaches transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses full-time.
